A Casa da Moeda do Brasil (CMB), que produz os passaportes, informou na sexta-feira (21) que a normalização da emissão dos documentos deve levar até cinco semanas e ainda pode ser impactada pelo volume de novas solicitações. As informações são da Agência Brasil.
O Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública (MJSP) informou, também ontem (21), que já colocou à disposição “o limite de empenho de recursos federais para emissão de passaportes”. “Foi repassado o crédito suplementar de R$ 102,3 milhões aprovado pelo Congresso Nacional”, conforme nota divulgada pela pasta.
A Polícia Federal informou que no período de suspensão de emissão dos passaportes “foram represados cerca de 175 mil pedidos”. Segundo a PF, estes documentos represados agora serão processados por ordem cronológica.
A Casa da Moeda informou que recebeu na tarde de sexta (21) os arquivos com dados dos solicitantes de passaportes e que a fabricação será retomada imediatamente, com turnos extras a partir do começo da próxima semana.
“Por entender a importância da urgente normalização do serviço, a CMB vai trabalhar 24 horas por dia, sete dias por semana, a partir de segunda feira (24), arcando com custos extras para atender a todas as solicitações feitas pelos cidadãos nos postos da DPF durante os dias de suspensão”, informa a nota. A emissão de passaportes foi suspensa no dia 27 de junho, por falta de dinheiro, segundo a PF.
