O falecimento do poeta Manuca Almeida na noite do dia 11 de novembro em Barretos, São Paulo, deixou Juazeiro e Petrolina tristes. Pelas redes sociais,foram muitas as manifestações de pesar.
O corpo de Manuca chegou por volta das 14h de hoje (13) à cidade de Juazeiro da Bahia que o acolheu. O velório, que aconteceu no Centro de Cultura, foi reservado primeiro aos familiares do multiartista, e em seguida aberto ao público.
O sepultamento do corpo do poeta, compositor e artista Manuca, foi realizado às 19h, no Cemitério Central da cidade baiana.
