O julgamento do cangaceiro mais famoso do Sertão, começou às 8h de hoje (31) em Petrolina . O Centro Cultural Dom Bosco, no Centro da cidade, é o local do Júri Épico Histórico, que ocorre até às 19h. A transmissão é feita ao vivo pela rede social Instagram (@jurihistorico.pnz) para atender ao público que não está inscrito no evento.
O Júri Épico é um projeto acadêmico e tem o objetivo de integrar a Ciência Jurídica a outras disciplinas, além de transportar o público à década de 30, para presenciar como seria o julgamento de Lampião. O evento é dividido em duas partes: no primeiro momento ocorrem os interrogatórios das testemunhas, tanto de defesa quanto de acusação e do ‘Capitão’ Virgulino. Já no segundo a Promotoria e a defesa realizam os debates.
O mistério sobre quem seriam os jurados foi desvendado. Eles foram escolhidos dentre os participantes presentes, por meio de sorteios realizados pelo número de sua inscrição, fato que gerou grande alvoroço e surpreendeu a todos no local. Pensando no quesito da acessibilidade para as pessoas presentes no evento, a comissão organizadora trouxe os intérpretes de Libras Ramon Gonçalves, Valdir Ligo e Maria da Conceição Soares, que garantirão a informação ao público surdo.
Repercussão
Especialistas, tanto em História do Cangaço quanto da Área Jurídica, vieram de outros Estados como Bahia, Sergipe e São Paulo, para prestigiar o Júri Histórico. A repercussão do julgamento do Rei do Cangaço despertou a curiosidade do “Fantástico”, da TV Globo, que realiza uma cobertura jornalística especial.
A presença de Maria Bonita, companheira do cangaceiro, também centraliza as atenções do público, o dividindo entre a figura do Lampião herói e do Lampião bandido. Outro motivo de destaque são os trajes épicos usados pelos participantes, que priorizaram as vestes típicas do cangaço. Até o final, o evento promete muitas surpresas.
O Júri Épico é um projeto idealizado pelo professor Anderson Wagner Araújo e pelo promotor criminal de Petrolina, Fernando Della Latta, em parceria com a Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB-PE), Ministério Público de Pernambuco (MPPE), Faculdade de Ciências Aplicadas e Sociais de Petrolina (Facape) e a Faculdade de Tecnologia e Ciências (FTC).
