O senado tentará votar nesta terça-feira (31) o projeto de lei de autoria do deputado Carlos Zarattini (PT-SP), aprovado na Câmara no abril e que propõe a regulamentação de aplicativos de serviços de transporte individual pagos, como Uber e Cabify.
A proposta, tratada com urgência no senado, contém uma série de exigências e é defendido pela classe de taxistas que consideram a concorrência desleal. Alguns pontos são considerados polêmicos, por exigirem itens semelhantes aos dos táxis, como o uso de placas vermelhas e o porte de autorização específica emitida pela prefeitura local para prestar o serviço.
As empresas responsáveis pelos aplicativos, porém, afirmam que a proposta “inviabiliza o trabalho”. Para as empresas, o texto representa uma “proibição velada” a serviços como Uber e Cabify, já que as autorizações estão nas mãos das prefeituras. Para a as empresas desses aplicativos, outro problema é que “em cidades como São Paulo, por exemplo, a restrição de apenas circular onde o carro foi emplacado inviabilia o trabalho”, declarou o diretor de comunicação do Uber, Fábio Sabba.
Outra alternativa
Além da primeira proposta que poderá ser analisado nesta terça, existe outro texto, do senador Pedro Chaves (PSC-MS), que rejeita o projeto de Zarattini e dá um ar mais brando à proposta. Nele, é retirado a obrigatoriedade de autorização de prefeituras e a necessidade de placas vermelhas – os pontos considerados mais polêmicos na proposta do deputado Carlos Zarattini.
