Petrobras eleva em 7,4% preço da gasolina nas refinarias
O aumento já era cobrado pelo mercado, diante das elevadas defasagens em relação às cotações internacionais.
A Petrobras elevará em 7,4% o preço médio de venda da gasolina em suas refinarias a partir desta quarta-feira (25). Segundo a estatal, o preço médio passará de R$ 3,08 para R$ 3,31 por litro.
É o primeiro reajuste após a posse do presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), que ainda não conseguiu nomear no comando da estatal seu indicado, o senador Jean Paul Prates (PT-RN). A última vez que a Petrobras mexeu no preço da gasolina foi no início e dezembro, com corte de 6,1%.
O aumento já era cobrado pelo mercado, diante das elevadas defasagens em relação às cotações internacionais. Desde o fim do ano, com raras exceções, a Petrobras vinha vendendo o produto no país a preços menores do que no exterior.
Segundo cálculo da Abicom (Associação Brasileira dos Importadores de Combustíveis), na abertura do mercado desta terça (24) o preço médio da gasolina nas refinarias do país estava 14%, ou R$ 0,49 por litro, abaixo da paridade de importação, conceito que simula quanto custaria para trazer o produto do exterior.
Isto é, o aumento desta quarta não será suficiente para cobrir a defasagem. O governo Lula, porém, tem afirmado que não seguirá o conceito de paridade de importação na venda dos combustíveis, já que o Brasil produz grande parte do volume que consome.
Em nota, a Petrobras diz que o aumento “acompanha a evolução dos preços de referência e é coerente com a prática de preços da Petrobras, que busca o equilíbrio dos seus preços com o mercado, mas sem o repasse para os preços internos da volatilidade conjuntural das cotações e da taxa de câmbio”.
Considerando a mistura obrigatória de 27% de etanol anidro no produto vendido nos postos, diz a estatal, sua parcela no preço de bomba será, em média, de R$ 2,42 por litro, ou R$ 0,17 acima do valor médio vigente até esta terça.
Na semana passada, a gasolina foi vendida pelos postos brasileiros, em média, a R$ 4,98 por litro. Foi a primeira vez no ano que o valor ficou abaixo de R$ 5, após repique que levou órgãos de defesa da concorrência a anunciar investigações sobre os postos.
Na primeira semana de 2023, o litro chegou a bater R$ 5,12, movimento atribuído por governistas a tentativa de tumultuar o ambiente econômico após a posse de Lula.
Ao assumir, o novo presidente decidiu prorrogar por 60 dias isenção de impostos federais sobre os combustíveis para conter os efeitos inflacionário e os danos à imagem do governo que o retorno da cobrança provocaria.
Sua indicação para a Petrobras será avaliada pelo conselho de administração da companhia nesta quinta (26) e a expectativa é que, mesmo com um colegiado majoritariamente bolsonarista, Prates já tenha conseguido votos suficientes para sua nomeação.
