O governador Paulo Câmara em pronunciamento nesta terça-feira (19), avisou que a partir desta quarta-feira (20), o uso de máscara não será mais obrigatório em espaços fechados em Pernambuco.
A dispensa da máscara nos espaços fechados acontece um ano e 11 meses depois de quando o uso do equipamento se tornou obrigatório, em 16 de maio de 2020.
A máscara, no entanto, continua obrigatória no transportes coletivos, nas escolas e unidades de saúde no Estado.
o governador Paulo Câmara, explicou que a decisão, ocorreu devido à queda dos números da Covid-19 no Estado. Segundo ele, a semana epidemiológica 15, encerrada no último sábado (16), confirmou a diminuição de todos os indicadores da pandemia.
