O deputado federal e pré-candidato à presidência da República, Jair Bolsonaro procura se apresentar ao eleitorado como um político diferente de todos os outros. O PSL, contudo, partido de Bolsonaro na corrida pelo Planalto, prima pela fidelidade ao governo de Michel Temer.
De acordo com um levantamento realizado pela consultoria Arko Advice, o partido de Bolsonaro , que conta com oito deputados, foi o mais fiel a Temer em votações na Câmara em 2018 – ultrapassando o PSDB de Geraldo Alckmin, os partidos do chamado ‘centrão’ e o próprio MDB de Temer.
Em 67,73% das votações de pautas de interesse do governo na Câmara dos Deputados o PSL votou como queria Temer. Atrás dele vêm o MDB, em sintonia com o governo em 64,34% das votações. O PSDB ocupa o terceiro lugar no ranking de fidelidade ao governo, acompanhando Temer e 63% das votações.
Entre as pautas respaldadas pelo PSL de Bolsonaro está a lei que permite a venda direta de petróleo do pré-sal pertencente à União e a abertura de crédito especial ao poder Executivo superior a R$ 430 milhões, entre outros temas.
Ainda de acordo com o levantamento, os partidos que apresentam maior resistência às demandas do governo são o PDT de Ciro Gomes , que respaldou Temer em 23% das votações, a Rede de Marina Silva, apoiando pautas do governo em 18% dos pleitos na Câmara, e o PT, que apoiou o governo em apenas 5% das votações.
