Nesta semana, os líderes comunitários de Petrolina, decidiram instituir uma comissão mista e provocar encontros com representante da Compesa , para tratar das questões do abastecimento de água na cidade.
Eles conseguiram. Recebidos pelo gerente regional da Compesa , João Raphael, os 12 representantes comunitários das comunidades de Petrolina, puderam expor suas reclamações e cada líder apresentou as suas demandas pontuais de suas localidades e todos questionaram o problema de falta de água, recorrente nos últimos dias na cidade e que afetou grande parte dos bairros. Muitos levantaram também a questão do esgotamento sanitário.
Terminadas as reclamações e as falas dos comunitários, o gerente da Companhia, trouxe aqueles números já conhecidos, e jogou-os nos ouvidos das lideranças que saíram daquela reunião insatisfeitos.
“Acreditar na Compesa, é como pegar em nuvens, é como segurar água na mão ou enxugar gelo. A Companhia, tem ao longo dos anos, demonstrado que não é confiável, que não presta um bom serviço. Compesa é uma Quimera. Quem acredita nela, se torna aluado e precisa rever conceitos”, disse um dos líderes.
A intenção do comunitários é louvável, e vale aplausos, no entanto, não se pode baixar a guarda, e a luta , segundo a comissão , vai continuar. Segundo a Comissão, os meios de comunicação serão os maiores parceiros nessa luta, e eles (os líderes), continuarão com reuniões e assembleias até conseguir os objetivos para um abastecimento de água com qualidade. Líderes comunitários prometem continuar a fazer barulho em Petrolina.
