Um grupo do Facebook chamado “quero ser barriga de aluguel”, por exemplo, reúne 2.500 pessoas, sendo a maioria de mulheres que buscam realizar o sonho de ter filhos.
Cerca de 40 mensagens são escritas por dia no grupo, mas segundo a adminstração da página, nunca houve tentativa de retirá-la do ar: seja por ordem judicial, ou denúncias por usuários da rede social. Os motivos que levaram jovens até o grupo são diversas: desde a busca desesperada por emprego até a necessidade de financiar os estudos.
A ‘barriga de aluguel’ só é permitida pelo Conselho Federal de Medicina (CFM) quando a mulher cede, de forma solidária, sem cobrar pela gestação.
