Deputada Dulci Amorim reúne lideranças comunitárias com a Compesa para tratar das obras da bacia do Jatobá
Companhia garantiu que o saneamento dos bairros Jatobá, Fernando Idalino, Henrique Leite, Loteamento Geovanna, Vila Vitória e Rio Jordão deve ser concluído até julho deste ano.
Nesta sexta-feira (29), a deputada estadual Dulci Amorim (PT) e o ex-prefeito de Petrolina, Odacy Amorim, promoveram um encontro dos representantes dos bairros Jatobá, Fernando Idalino, Henrique Leite, Loteamento Geovanna, Vila Vitória e Rio Jordão com dirigentes da Compesa em Petrolina.
O objetivo da reunião foi levar as reivindicações dos bairros para que as obras da Bacia do Jatobá sejam finalizadas e resolvam os problemas de saneamento das comunidades.
As obras, que eram tocadas pela prefeitura, chegaram a ser paralisadas. Atualmente, a gestão está com o Governo de Pernambuco, através da Compesa. “Desde 2009, os moradores aguardam pela conclusão desse saneamento. Hoje, a população segue preocupada com o ritmo dos trabalhos. E nós estamos aqui para buscar esclarecimentos, porque esse é de nosso interesse e nosso compromisso”, pontuou Odacy Amorim.
A boa notícia é que, depois de mais uma década de espera, a obra tem data para ser concluída. “Até julho deste ano a Compesa, finalmente, vai entregar o saneamento para esses bairros. Sabemos que as obras de saneamento são invisíveis, mas elas fazem muita diferença na qualidade de vida das pessoas”, comemorou a deputada Dulci Amorim.
