Decisão do TSE contra o assédio moral às mulheres candidatas na campanha eleitoral é um avanço, avalia Denise Lima
Conforme o documento, os órgãos se comprometem a garantir os direitos de participação das mulheres, observando a importância das declarações das candidatas e os indícios de crimes nas denúncias que forem apresentadas.
A candidata a deputada estadual Denise Lima comemorou a assinatura do acordo entre o Tribunal Superior Eleitoral – TSE e a Procuradoria Geral da República – PGR que visa combater a violência contra as mulheres candidatas nas eleições de outubro de 2022.
Segundo o Tribunal Superior Eleitoral – TSE os casos de assédio moral, humilhação, ameaça pessoal ou até mesmo virtual está previsto no Código Eleitoral como violência de gênero no Artigo 326 – B e prevê pena de um a quatro anos de reclusão, além de multa.
Conforme o documento, os órgãos se comprometem a garantir os direitos de participação das mulheres, observando a importância das declarações das candidatas e os indícios de crimes nas denúncias que forem apresentadas.
Segundo Denise, ela tem recebido informações de vários casos de assédio moral já agora neste processo eleitoral e para isso foi sugerido a Secretaria da Mulher do Diretório Estadual do PC do B que todos os casos, independente do partido de outras candidatas, sejam comunicados ao Tribunal Regional Eleitoral – TRE de Pernambuco para apuração, porque só assim será possível existir um ambiente eleitoral mais tranquilo para as mulheres.
No ato de assinatura do protocolo o presidente do TSE, ministro Edson Fachim, lembrou que o direito ao voto feminino completou 90 anos, mas a participação da mulher na política continua sendo um desafio e não existe democracia sem a participação das mulheres”.
