O juiz Marcelo Bretas condenou o empresário Eike Batista a 30 anos de prisão por corrupção ativa e lavagem de dinheiro na Operação Eficiência, desdobramento da Lava Jato no Rio. A decisão é datada da última segunda-feira (2).
Eike é acusado de pagar US$ 16,5 milhões a Sérgio Cabral, ex-governador do Rio, o equivalente a R$ 52 milhões, em propina. O pagamento teria sido feito em troca de contratos com o governo estadual. No mesmo processo, Cabral foi condenado a 22 anos e oito meses.
Essa é a sexta condenação em primeira instância do ex-governador, com a pena superando 120 anos. Também foram condenados nesta ação penal a ex-primeira dama Adriana Ancelmo, o ex-secretário Wilson Carlos, o ex-braço direito de Cabral Carlos Miranda e o braço direito de Eike, Flavio Godinho.
O advogado do empresário, Fernando Martins, informou que esta é a primeira condenação da vida de Eike e que vai recorrer.
Condenados:
- Eike Batista – 30 anos – corrupção ativa (pagamento de US$16,5 milhões em troca de vantagens em obras) e lavagem de dinheiro
- Sérgio Cabral – 22 anos e 8 meses – corrupção passiva (recebimento de propina), lavagem de dinheiro e evasão de divisas
- Adriana Ancelmo – 4 anos e 6 meses – corrupção passiva e lavagem de dinheiro (recebimento de R$ 1 milhão de propina através de seu escritório)
- Carlos Miranda – 8 anos e 6 meses (substituídos por ter assinado delação premiada) – corrupção passiva e lavagem de dinheiro (recolhimento da propina)
- Wilson Carlos – 9 anos e 10 meses – corrupção passiva e lavagem de dinheiro (recolhimento da propina)
- Flávio Godinho – 22 anos – corrupção ativa e lavagem de dinheiro (intermediação dos pagamentos)
