Os cursos das instituições públicas de ensino superior apresentaram desempenhos maiores que os das instituições privadas no Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes (Enade) 2019.
O exame avaliou a atuação dos estudantes em relação aos conteúdos programáticos no curso de graduação. No levantamento de 2019 foram avaliados cursos de bacharelado em engenharia, arquitetura e urbanismo, ciências agrárias, ciências da saúde e áreas afins, além dos cursos tecnológicos nas áreas de ambiente e saúde, produção alimentícia, recursos naturais, militar e de segurança.
Dos cursos enquadrados na faixa 5, melhor nota do indicador, 81,4% são de instituições públicas, enquanto 18,6% correspondem a instituições privadas. O dado faz parte do Conceito Enade, calculado a partir dos desempenhos dos estudantes concluintes dos cursos de graduação no Enade.
O Enade 2019 mostra ainda que 60% dos estudantes concluintes são beneficiados por subsídios ou financiamentos públicos, como o Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies) e o Programa Universidade para Todos (ProUni).
Dos que receberam subsídio do Governo Federal, 71% são os primeiros da família com acesso ao ensino superior.
