Depois de se juntar ao movimento pela revogação do Tatu-Bola, na última quinta-feira (08), na Câmara de Petrolina, durante uma Audiência Pública onde representantes de agricultores do Sertão do São Francisco expuseram a necessidade de invalidar o Programa, o vereador Marquinhos do N4 foi neste domingo (11), até Baixa Alegre, conhecer os agricultores atingidos com as restrições do programa que os impedem de usufruir das áreas para o cultivo agrícola.
Na oportunidade, o vereador conversou com agricultores e com a Secretária Estadual de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade, Anamara Melo, que juntos buscam uma alternativa para a revogação da programa de reserva ambiental. Várias autoridades políticas e representativas também estiveram no encontro.
Os agricultores de áreas de conservação do tatu-bola pedem a revogação do Decreto Estadual nº 41.546/2015 que criou a unidade de preservação do animal silvestre em comunidades rurais, como: Baixa Alegre, Caititu, Aranzel, Carretão, entre outras localidades.
Durante o encontro, o vereador reforçou o que disse durante a Audiência Pública. “Precisamos nos movimentar para revogar este decreto que impossibilita os agricultores de produzirem alimento para subsistência e comercialização. Engrossamos o coro pela revogação do Tatu-Bola”, afirma Marquinhos do N4, acrescentando que foram levantadas algumas sugestões para enfrentamento do problema até que haja solução definitiva para revogação do decreto.
Esse decreto foi assinado em 2015, em Pernambuco.
