O presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), Luiz Fux, decidiu nesta quarta-feira, 26, cancelar o retorno presencial à Corte previsto para o próximo dia 1º de fevereiro, quando termina oficialmente o recesso judicial. A decisão também impacta a tradicional cerimônia de abertura do ano no Poder Judiciário, momento em que autoridades como o presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL) e os presidentes do Legislativo federal comparecem à Suprema Corte, mas que ocorrerá de maneira remota neste ano.
Na portaria com as novas diretrizes, o Fux também determina a prorrogação do trabalho remoto até o fim de fevereiro, “em razão dos índices elevados de transmissão e contaminação por Covid-19 e influenza no Distrito Federal”, conforme nota divulgada pelo Supremo.
A decisão será publicada no Diário da Justiça Eletrônico (DJe) nesta quinta-feira, 27. Em outubro do ano passado, Fux autorizou a retomada das atividades presenciais no Supremo mediante a apresentação do comprovante de vacinação contra a covid-19, o chamado “passaporte da vacina”. A medida foi adotada em meio ao avanço do Programa de Operacionalização da Imunização (PNO) no País e, mesmo assim, o retorno ocorreu de maneira gradual durante o mês de novembro.
