Integrantes do Palácio do Planalto vêm tentando evitar conflitos com o presidente do PTB, Roberto Jefferson, diante das polêmicas envolvendo a nomeação da filha dele, Cristiane Brasil, ao ministério do Trabalho.
De acordo com o Blog do Camarotti, do G1, o governo esperava que a própria deputada desistisse da nomeação para evitar desgaste do próprio nome. Como isso não aconteceu, o Planalto decidiu transferir para o Supremo Tribunal Federal a definição sobre o caso.
Roberto Jefferson é a última pessoa com quem Temer deve brigar”, explicou um interlocutor do presidente à publicação. “Jefferson é um aliado importante, mas como adversário pode causar um estrago bem maior”, afirmou. O petebista foi delator do caso do mensalão, em 2005.
