Nesta segunda-feira, (8), durante a Reunião Plenária e Extraordinária da Câmara de Vereadores de Petrolina, para apreciar e votar projetos e decretos legislativos da Prefeitura de Petrolina, o vereador Osinaldo Souza do PTB, se exaltou no discurso e, em tom de defesa ao prefeito Miguel Coelho, o Edil, ‘ causou’ usando palavras fortes e muita persuasão. Foi tão forte o discurso, que foi aplaudido pelos seus pares quando Osinaldo comparou a gestão do atual prefeito da Capital do São Francisco, a do ex-presidente do Brasil, Juscelino Kubitschek .
“Acredito na palavra do prefeito e pode ter certeza que quando ele (o prefeito) terminar este primeiro mandato, não vão chamá-lo mais de Miguel Coelho. ‘Vão chamá-lo de Juscelino Kubitschek de Petrolina’. Por que ele vai fazer em quatro anos, o que não fizeram em 40 em Petrolina”, frisou o vereador Osinaldo Souza afirmando acreditar em um Novo Tempo em Petrolina.
