Aliado fiel do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL) nos últimos quatro anos, o deputado federal Otoni de Paula (MDB-RJ) esteve presente na posse de três ministros do governo Lula nesta semana e, à CNN, disse estar “aberto ao diálogo” com o Executivo.
“Continuo na oposição, mas não é porque não gosto do piloto do avião que irei torcer para ele cair”, afirmou Otoni, que prometeu atuar com responsabilidade na Câmara. “Não serei torcerei pro quanto pior melhor, e irei ser criticado à direita por isso”, disse.
Célebre nas redes sociais pelos ataques ao Supremo Tribunal Federal, investigado no inquérito das Fake News e que já chegou a prometer que receberia petistas “à bala”, Otoni esteve nas posses dos ministros Jader Filho (Cidades), Renan Filho (Transportes) e Simone Tebet (Planejamento) para, segundo ele, “prestigiar o MDB”.
“O partido é uma federação. Tem bolsonaristas e integrantes do governo, contra o qual serei intransigente nas pautas de costume. Mas, o que for bom, irei votar a favor”, disse ele.
O deputado começou a sofrer críticas de apoiadores do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro após defender que os manifestantes acampados na porta de quartéis do Exército saíssem do local. “Bolsonaro tinha a obrigação ética de, sabendo que nada aconteceria depois da eleição do Lula, dizer isso ao povo. Ao sair do Brasil, ele acabou se apequenando”, resumiu o parlamentar.
