PF prende ex-deputado federal e mais 18 durante operação em Santos
Foram expedidos 21 mandados de prisão e 24 de busca e apreensão; o ex-deputado Marcelo Squassoni (PRB-SP) foi o principal alvo da operação.
O ex-deputado federal Marcelo Squassoni (PRB-SP) foi preso com outras 18 pessoas na manhã desta quinta-feira (22), em Santos, por suposto envolvimento em fraudes. Os cumprimentos dos mandados de prisão fazem parte da segunda fase da Operação Tritão.
Ao todo, foram expedidos 21 mandados de prisão e outros 24 de busca e apreensão em cidades dos estados de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Ceará. O ex-deputado é suspeito de ser um dos articuladores de um esquema que fraudava licitações e contratos na Companhia Docas do Estado de São Paulo (Codesp).
Segundo a Polícia, o prejuízo causado pelas fraudes nas licitações e contratos superam os R$ 100 milhões. No momento, dois suspeitos seguem foragidos.
A primeira fase da Operação Tritão foi deflagrada em outubro de 2018. Sete pessoas, incluindo o presidente da Codesp, foram presas e a Polícia identificou três contratos ilícitos firmados com a estatal.
