O juiz substituto Renato Borelli, da 20ª Vara Federal do DF, suspendeu nesta terça-feira (25) o aumento de tributos sobre os combustíveis anunciado pelo governo na semana passada.
A decisão vale para todo o país.
Cabe recurso.Em decisão provisória (liminar), o juiz suspendeu os efeitos do decreto que determinou o aumento de PIS/Cofins sobre gasolina e etanol.
O magistrado cita, entre outras ilegalidades, o não cumprimento da “noventena”, prazo de 90 dias entre a edição da norma e sua entrada em vigor.
Como destaca o G1, o aumento começou a valer na sexta (21) e, no total, passou a custar aos motoristas R$ 0,89 para cada litro de gasolina.
A tributação sobre o diesel subiu em R$ 0,21 e ficou em R$ 0,46 por litro do combustível. Já a tributação sobre o etanol subiu R$ 0,20 por litro.
