Fraudes ao seguro-desemprego em Alagoas são alvo de operação da PF

APolícia Federal (PF) deflagrou nesta quinta-feira (5), a Operação Garapeiros, que investiga uma organização criminosa especializada em fraudar o seguro-desemprego no estado de Alagoas. Na ação foram cumpridos quatro mandados de prisão expedidos pela Justiça Federal contra os principais envolvidos, além de 16 mandados de busca e apreensão e sequestro de bens e valores, todos na capital Maceió.
“O inquérito policial foi instaurado em abril desse ano e, desde então, foram identificados significativos vínculos empregatícios fictícios com o objetivo de criar artificiosamente direito ao seguro-desemprego”, explicou a PF.
Os materiais apreendidos foram encaminhados à sede da Polícia Federal em Alagoas para os procedimentos cabíveis. Os envolvidos responderão pelos crimes de constituição de organização criminosa, inserção de dados falsos em sistemas de informações, peculato e estelionato, cujas penas máximas, se somadas, atingem 37 anos de reclusão.
