senador Fernando Bezerra Coelho, MDB-PE, em suas caminhada pela zona rural de Petrolina, ocorrida no dia do Trabalhador (1º de maio), não esperava ser recepcionado pelos moradores do povoado de Uruás com protesto e palavras de ordem. Na localidade se encontra o principal canal do Projeto Pontal.
Com cobranças sérias e gritos de “golpista”, os moradores pediram para que haja uma intervenção junto à Codevasf, e principalmente na Superintendência Regional em Petrolina. A cobrança maior, diz respeito à religação da água do canal que ajuda a abastecer inúmeras comunidades região. Como em outras postagens já escrevemos: ter respeito é uma coisa, no entanto, as pessoas agora, sem medo, dizem o que pensam. Até mesmo nas áreas mais distantes.
