Através de Nota Hospital Universitário não confirma morte por influenza H1N1
Os resultados serão disponibilizados diretamente aos órgãos de vigilância epidemiológica municipal e estadual, com data prevista para o dia 16 de junho.
Uma mulher faleceu nesta quinta-feira (6) no Hospital Universitário (HU) em Petrolina, após ser internada na UTI da unidade médica. Diversos meios de comunicação alardearam que a vítima teria morrido por causa do viírus da gripe H1N1.
No entanto, ainda não há confirmação da causa da morte.Por essa razão o Hospital Universitário da Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco – HU-Univasf/Ebserh informou que no dia 28 de maio recebeu sim, a paciente com quadro clínico compatível ao perfil sintomático de infecção pelo vírus influenza A-H1N1. Sendo assim, foram realizados os exames necessários visando confirmação da suspeita de contágio.
Os resultados serão disponibilizados diretamente aos órgãos de vigilância epidemiológica municipal e estadual, com data prevista para o dia 16 de junho. A partir do laudo conclusivo, as secretarias municipal e estadual de saúde poderão tomar as providências cabíveis caso haja confirmação de infecção por vírus A-H1N1.
O momento não é de alarde, mas de espera certificada para que medidas cabíveis sejam tomadas.
