Imbassahy trabalhava com a articulação política e passou a ser alvo de boicote de líderes de partidos do centrão, que cobravam sua saída do governo, em troca de cargos.
O nome do deputado Carlos Marun (PMDB-MS) é cotado para assumir a Secretaria do Governo.
