Depois desse Blog noticiar que o vereador Gabriel Menezes tinha fechado acordo com Alvorlande Cruz para assumir sua vaga no período eleitoral, para que ele cuidasse de sua campanha rumo à ALEPE, o vereador ao que parece, vai engatar a marcha à ré, e ficará no mandato, deixando Alvorlande Cruz a ver navios. Parece que não vai ser desta vez que dois irmãos ocuparão cargos no legislativo petrolinense.
O vereador Gabriel Menezes (PSL), se afastaria do parlamento de Petrolina na volta do recesso Legislativo na próxima terça -feira,7. Estava tudo certo. Mas parece que deu para trás. O político se dedicará, por três meses, à pré-candidatura dele a Deputado Estadual por Pernambuco. A decisão fora tomada, como ele explicou, por questões éticas, tendo em vista que, juridicamente, não há necessidade do afastamento.
Ele também disse que o real motivo seria o combate a corrupção, não utilizando o dinheiro público para financiar a campanha. “Por ser coerente com o que digo e com as minhas ideias não acho justo disputar tendo a campanha custeada com o alto salário que recebo como vereador de Petrolina”.
Parece que Gabriel Menezes começa a agir como verdadeiro político: prometendo e não cumprindo. Até o momento, Petrolina apresenta mais de 10 nomes que almejam uma vaga na Assembleia Legislativa de Pernambuco. Sobre o alto número de pessoas que estão sendo pré-candidatos, inclusive novatos, Gabriel Menezes disse admirar a coragem de todos e que a cidade necessita de mais representações políticas.
