Estão abertas as inscrições para a 13ª Olimpíada Brasileira de Matemática das Escolas Públicas. Podem participar estudantes a partir do sexto ano do ensino fundamental até o ensino médio. Este ano, a competição também será aberta a alunos de escolas particulares. As inscrições devem ser feitas pela instituição de ensino até o dia 31 de março.
A prova é a maior olimpíada estudantil do mundo. E, nesta edição, será integrada com a Olimpíada Brasileira de Matemática, o que deve aumentar o número de participantes. No ano passado, foram quase 18 milhões de inscritos.
De acordo com os organizadores, a prova pretende despertar o interesse dos alunos e mostrar que a disciplina é mais ampla que o ensinado na escola. Para resolver as questões, não é necessário saber a fundo matemática, mas é preciso ter raciocínio, criatividade e lógica.
As provas são divididas em três níveis, levando em consideração o currículo escolar. E são duas fases de competição: a primeira acontece no dia 6 de junho e a segunda, em 16 de setembro. A premiação será separada para escolas públicas e privadas. Para saber mais basta acessar: obmep.org.br. (AB)
