Os veículos de imprensa estrangeiros repercutiram a denúncia feita de corrupção passiva do procurador-geral da República, Rodrigo Janot, contra o presidente Michel Temer.
De acordo com o G1, a primeira mídia a dar a notícia foi a BBC. O site britânico afirmou que a expectativa é que esta seja a primeira de uma série de denúncias que virão nas próximas semanas contra o presidente.
Sob o título “Presidente do Brasil Michel Temer é acusado de suposta corrupção”, o ‘The Guardian’ destacou que a denúncia precisa ainda passar por uma maioria de dois terços no Congresso para seguir em direção a um julgamento.
Nos Estados Unidos, o “Washington Post” reforçou que é a primeira vez que um presidente brasileiro é denunciado por corrupção.
A reportagem do “Sydney Morning Herald”, da Austrália, afirmou “é a primeira do que é esperada para ser uma série de alegações de corrupção contra o líder profundamente impopular nas próximas semanas”.
