Em parceria com o governo de Pernambuco, a prefeitura municipal de Afrânio através da secretaria de Desenvolvimento Social, recebeu a primeira etapa da 8ª Edição da Campanha Nenhuma Pernambucana sem Documento. A Formação de Educadoras Sociais é a primeira etapa da Campanha onde aconteceram formação e dinâmicas com os temas de Gênero, Cidadania, Documentação, Enfrentamento à Violência de Gênero e Direitos Reprodutivos.
O evento teve a participação de servidoras municipais de várias secretarias como Ação Social, Educação e Saúde, além de organizações sociais de mulheres do município. A primeira dama e secretária de Desenvolvimento Social, Ana Luiza Cavalcanti, participou e fez a entrega dos certificados encerrando essa primeira etapa do programa.
A segunda etapa será a emissão de documentos: carteira de identidade, 2ª via da certidão de nascimento, certidão de casamento e fotografias. Nessa segunda etapa, o Mutirão acontecerá das 9h às 13h no dia 10/10 no Memorial José Theodomiro.
A Campanha já teve sete edições desde o seu início em 2008 até sua última edição em 2014 e contemplou todo o Estado de Pernambuco. Nesta oitava edição o município de Afrânio foi contemplado, atendendo a uma solicitação do prefeito Rafael Cavalcanti ao governo do Estado.
