A prefeitura de Petrolina anunciou nesta terça (31)uma plataforma para melhorar os serviços em saúde no município. A administração municipal promoverá a abertura de 12 novos postos de saúde, uma casa de partos, um laboratório, contratação de profissionais, ampliação da assistência básica nos bairros entre outras medidas.
O ‘Petrolina Cuida’, pretende adotar um modelo de atendimento humanizado, descentralizado e focado em reduzir o tempo de espera dos pacientes. Para isso, segundo a prefeitura, algumas ações preventivas e de infraestrutura já estão em andamento.
Dentro do pacote anunciado pelo prefeito ainda estão previstas a ampliação de 50 para 61 bairros atendidos pelo Programa Saúde da Família e a contratação de novos profissionais por concurso público. A cidade passará a contar também com alguns novos equipamentos como uma casa de partos, com obras previstas para concluir no final do ano, um centro de diagnósticos por imagem e um laboratório público.
