O diretor-geral do Dnit, Valter Casimiro, tomará posse como novo ministro dos Transportes na 2ª feira (2.abr). A indicação foi feita pelo PR, partido que comanda atualmente o ministério.
Na mesma cerimônia, Gilberto Occhi também será empossado como ministro da Saúde no lugar de Ricardo Barros. O político indicado pelo PP deixará o comando da Caixa, que ocupava desde 2016.
Casimiro é servidor de carreira do Dnit desde 2006. Em 2015, assumiu interinamente o cargo de diretor-geral, para o qual foi indicado e aceito no mesmo ano.
A posse de Casimiro e Occhi foi confirmada pelo Planalto neste sábado (31.mar). O governo decidiu dar início oficialmente à reforma ministerial após 2 amigos de Michel Temer serem presos em São Paulo pela Polícia Federal.
José Yunes, ex-assessor presidencial, e coronel João Baptista de Lima foram alvos de prisão temporária. O motivo é a investigação sobre o Decreto dos Portos, assinado pelo presidente em maio de 2017.
Michel Temer se reuniu no Planalto durante a semana com a cúpula do PR. No 1º encontro, participaram o atual ministro, Maurício Quintella (AL), e o ex-deputado Valdemar Costa Neto, condenado no Mensalão. No 2º, Casimiro foi levado para receber a benção de Temer para assumir a pasta.
Quintella deixará o ministério para disputar as eleições –provavelmente tentará uma vaga no Senado por Alagoas. Na 5ª feira (29.mar), realizou seu último ato público na inauguração de 1 terminal do aeroporto de Vitória (ES).
